Because She is a woman

The night was still as the grave and the only sound was the harsh words he was throwing to her.
But she kept still as the night she was in,

There was relation between her and the darkness out there
"you are a woman, my wife, I bought you, I paid for you"
She has no choice but to submit.

All her life that's what she been told "listen to your husband, he is your master, he paid for you"
But she suffer in silence because she is a woman, a commodity, part of the merchandiser wares,.
Squashed down because she is a woman.

"I don't have to pay you for the work that you do in the company , I paid your father enough to make you do what I want." he said... "But I also have my needs" she responded "I can not continue asking you for permission to use some of the money I work for in our company, I can't continue slaving simply because I'm your wife"she turns around tries to walk away, the stillness of the night was interrupted by a loud thunder, it exorcise her from the comfort of her thoughts... It took her a moment to realize that he had slapped her so hard that she started bleeding.... She mumbled something but he didn't care to listen,

"Spare me" she cried out loud"I'm your wife"......The look in his eyes was that of a monster, wicked and full of hate.
He punched her on and on and on with no remorse, screaming obscenities and slurs.
He is the man......
He stamps out his authority, a woman is his commodity not worthy of any respect whatsoever.
Because she is a woman, all she did wrong was ask for payment in the World Of Work.
Because of her gender she was violated and trampled on.. But why?

Because she asked a pay instead of begging a man for exoneration. Is she not human after all, does she not deserve remuneration, is this her sin.

She picked herself up and blood spats all over her dressed, looked him straight in the eye, he was panting now like a bull, tired and sweaty "this is the last time you ever lay your hands on me"

You are black

You are black, but what does that mean?
Is it just the color that binds your seams
Are you bound to the history of the slaves?
Are you living the life that the ancestors
dreamed to save?

Rallies and fighting for
rights is turning into mollies and twerking,

What does it mean to be black in the 21st century?
To the average person,it might not mean a single thing?
In the days of old,the sun rose and fell on man's backs,

He worked to near death ,just because his color was black,
Now the sun rises before we rise from our beds,
Nothing within but ambition and less dreams in our heads,
The word Nigga used to be a word to explain ignorance,

Now it's used as just a word of endearment,
Wasup my nigga,howsit my nigga.

Our neighbors call us makwerekwere in the foreign lands, but however we are all blacks.
Afraid of lifting your own kind, because he might do better than you.
Are we bound for doom?
Can we not live in peace?

But again how far have we come to have fallen this much.

Seems we have lost sight of our ancestors scars, and what they fought for.
The slavery history that we share as blacks is long fogoten.
Are we not one afterall.

The most divided out of all human races, blacks.

What has Africa come to be?
I am scared to even hug my brother,
Crime against another, brother against brother,But Why?
Fatherless children being raised by their teenage mothers,

Children hurting and living on the streets,
You hear them cry
No care in the world
People dying

Getting high just to pass the day,
As we turn a blind eye
Can't form a sentence,no words to say,
No education,
Now what kind of black is that?
Is it in the history worn as our hats?

The blood of innocent citizens spilled, just because we kill each other over senseless issues, but why?
We have lost sight of who we are,
It is us who act vile,
Started from the bottom indeed we have but you are still there,
Reach for the change that is in the air,

We need to rise and reclaim our pride as blacks.
Our freedom
Our lives

And make them proud, those that came before us and died,
We are enslaved in our own home, but how?,we are,
Slaves to the money
Slave to the sex
Slave to the drugs
When it's really education and progress that we need,

We have to break free from the shackles that we bind ourselves to constantly.
Ignorance the recipe for disaster,

Let us show the world just what we can really do,
An entire legacy that we need to take back,
Let us show the new generation what it truly means to be black,

What it means to be African
Proud and patriotic

Charity begins at home

Charity begins at home; we have known this statement long time back, it’s almost ancient.
But what does it mean?
This is a very powerful short phrased sentenced I must say.
The meaning is deep and strong, if you are a person who needs to do good. It’s advisable to start from where you come from. Help those around you.
For a family to grow it takes each individual to make it happen.

Before you go out to the world, start making a change right here at home, Africa our home.
I believe the only way to make our home a better place for you and for me is to heal it by working hand in hand.
A good message that i send, no message can be any clearer than this.

There are many people surrounding us that have no way to make it in life on their own, they need support from us, we are Africa, and who are we to blind pretending that they don’t need us?

Join us in taking Africa to new heights.
They say Africa is the cradle of mankind, let us therefor beautify our home so the world will see us in the best of ways. A healthy nation is a loving and caring nation.
I send these kind messages to you my  readers so you can see how iam  committed to the people.

The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning

Stop violence against women

Gender Based violence

Violence against women is a violence of human rights and it’s a form of discrimination against women and this means all forms of/acts of gender based violence that results in physical, sexual, psychological or economic harm, causing women to suffer.
This also includes acts like coercion or deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private.
Aims
I wish to pass awareness of this violence in hope to reduce the violence, to prevent and combat violence against women and domestic violence.
Violence against women and girls is one of the world’s most pervasive human rights abuse, it’s the most prevalent human rights violation in the world.

We never stop trying to make a change; each day is there for doing well to others.

He who wishes to secure the good of others, has already secured his own

Make a change

Everyone was born with a purpose.
Everyone was given a task, we are called and born to solve a problem, our existence is purposeful.
You are assigned and do not run away from problems, take it head on.
Change is not change until it’s changed, so let’s make a change in Africa.

I endeavor to inspire people to be at their level best, we will help youths raise their heads up and see the light.
No one was born without a purpose; however it usually takes a lot for some to figure out their purpose.

We will not only give fish but teach one how to fish.
We thrive to inspire for a positive change in Africa.
We are Africa and Africa is us.
Let’s put our heads together, hold hands and move forward-(forward we go)

Doing good comes from within so remember,
Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.J

Man in the mirror

Man in the mirror

This blog is all about us as the world/as Africa.
What does it take for one to make a change in the world? Perhaps is not for everyone, I think not.
There are these little things that you do and without knowing you have made someone’s life worth living.
The answer to the question rests within each one of us.
For one to make a change in the world it takes courage and dedication. Look inside your very heart and start from there.

I may give this example quiet often in different ways.
When you start on helping others let the success of your endeavours make the loudest noise ever through someone’s happiness.
Take a look in the mirror, that person looking back at you is the one who can make a change in Africa.C
Let’s hold hands now and forever.J

Where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance
